LOCKPORT – Anderson Davis III, a 20-year-old Lockport crack cocaine dealer, was ordered into the state prison system’s “shock incarceration” program Thursday by Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III.

Davis, 20, of High Street, will be placed in the boot camp-style program, which normally lasts about six months. If he fails, he faces two years in a regular cell and one year of post-release supervision.

Davis pleaded guilty to two felonies, fifth-degree sale and attempted fourth-degree possession of a controlled substance. He sold crack to a police informant in Lockport Jan. 28, 2013, and was arrested May 1, 2013, in a raid on an apartment on Washington Street, where 1,29 ounces of crack were found in his sweatshirt. The raid was triggered by two more crack sales by Davis in the apartment in April 2013.
