NORTH TONAWANDA – North Tonawanda residents and former residents who are interested in local history are invited to become a North Tonawanda History Museum trustee.
Trustees are elected for a three year term and take part in policy making, legal and financial matters and oversee operations. One, two and three year terms are available, but a three month orientation process is mandatory before being officially appointed.
On Tuesday the North Tonawanda High School Class of 1958, on a private visit to the North Tonawanda History Museum made a donation to the History Museum in honor of their classmate, A. Daniel Bille. Bille was North Tonawanda City Historian when the first suggestions of a new history museum were being discussed more than 10 years ago.
