WHEATFIELD – Police have obtained an arrest warrant for a man who reportedly head-butted another man in the face during a Sunday morning argument at a tavern on Niagara Falls Boulevard.
The victim, a 49-year-old Cheektowaga resident, told deputies he got into an argument with the man around 12:15 a.m. Sunday. While arguing, the man suddenly head-butted the victim in the middle of his face, injuring his mouth and nose, before throwing him to the ground an injuring his right arm. The assailant then fled on foot.
Deputies tentatively identified the suspect as a local resident, and have prepared third-degree assault charges against him.
