NIAGARA FALLS – A Niagara County court security officer contacted city police after he found a Buffalo man cut and bleeding, lying against the entrance to the Angelo DelSignore Civic Building and Courthouses at 7 a.m. Tuesday at 775 Third St. The injuries were not life-threatening.
Police said the 61-year-old man was calm and dabbing blood from three lacerations on his face and had bumps on his forehead and temple. He told police he had been in the 600 block of Chestnut Avenue with a young woman who lived there and two males punched him. He said the men did not take anything.
He told police he started walking towards the County Building thinking it was the bus station.
The victim was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for treatment.
