LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man admitted Monday in Niagara County Court that he tried to break into an apartment on Lincoln Place in the Falls about 1 a.m. Oct. 7.
Kyle D. Sullivan, 24, of Linwood Avenue, pleaded guilty to attempted third-degree burglary and is to be sentenced June 2 by County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas.
Sullivan and a co-defendant, Robert L. Shimmel, 32, of South Avenue, Niagara Falls, were caught at the scene after a neighbor called police. The suspects had allegedly damaged the door of the apartment.
