NORTH TONAWANDA – As the weather breaks, National Grid will begin utility work in March and continue through April along Twin Cities Memorial Highway.
Contractor crews from O’Connell Electric Co. will remove the wires that cross the highway near the intersection of Wheatfield Street.
The work will cause traffic to be stopped in both directions on Twin City Memorial Highway for short durations during the days while work is under way. Depending on the weather, traffic is expected to be cut down to a single lane April 8 through 10 in order to remove a tower on the west side of the highway.
