The effect of the Blizzard of 2014 continues to be question of where you are.
While no one has escaped the wind and double-digit-below-zero wind chills, some parts of the region’s north continue to be almost untouched by snow.
“The band of snow to the south is visible in the distance, but the sun is blindingly bright in the Lockport/Newfane area with mostly clear skies,” said Robert Ostrozinski of Newfane. “It’s cold as heck because of the wind, but the roads are clear and there is normal traffic flow in and around Lockport.”
