Not much is flying in or out of the Buffalo Niagara International Airport today.
As of about 8:30 a.m., 56 flights had been canceled for Tuesday, with another 13 either in the air, landed, delayed or still scheduled, according to the airport’s website.
That means that more than 80 percent of the flights through early this afternoon had been canceled.
Among the affected flights were JetBlue Airways, which grounded all its flights into and out of the three major New York City airports and Boston’s Logan International, from 5 p.m. Monday to at least 10 a.m. today.
JetBlue officials said they expected to be back on their regular schedule by 3 p.m. today.
