LOCKPORT – A Newfane man, arrested in a police raid on an Olcott methamphetamine lab in April, pleaded guilty to two felonies Friday and was admitted to a court-supervised drug treatment.
State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. told Dearick L. Hoefer, 32, that he faces up to eight years in prison if he fails in the diversion program. But successful drug treatment means that the charges would be reduced to misdemeanors with a probation sentence.
Hoefer admitted to third-degree unlawful manufacture of meth and fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance in connection with the drug operation on Franklin Street in Olcott.
