LOCKPORT – The Col. William Bond/Jesse Hawley House will be open two additional Saturdays in December for tours, the History Center of Niagara announced Monday.
All 12 rooms in the Bond-Hawley House, 143 Ontario St., are decorated in 19th century holiday style and open for tours this Saturday and Dec. 21.
Co-curators Becky and Gloria Pittler have included all elements of holiday decor in the National Register-listed house and museum, including Victorian Christmas trees, Santa Claus, Christmas decorations, tables set for Christmas dinner, and period fashions.
Donations are accepted, and tours for groups of eight or more can be arranged for a small fee. Scheduling can be accomplished by calling 434-7433.
