NEWFANE — Volunteer firefighters from several companies in Niagara County were battling a stubborn fire late Wednesday in an industrial park on West Avenue.
The fire was reported at around 8 p.m. and still was active at 10 p.m., according to a dispatcher with the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.
The dispatcher said firefighters were expected to remain at the scene past midnight.
The industrial park was said to contain about 30 garages.
