LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man who sold cocaine to a police informant wearing a recording device pleaded guilty Wednesday in Niagara County Court.
Derrick L. Morgan, 23, of Forest Avenue, admitted to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance in exchange for a promise from County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas not to sentence him to more than a year in the County Jail. Morgan will learn his fate Oct. 1.
Morgan was charged with drug sales in the Falls Nov. 27 and Dec. 10, and admitted to the former date.
