NIAGARA FALLS – A store manager told police Monday that a clerk at the 7-Eleven in the 2800 block of Pine Avenue was intentionally ringing up merchandise incorrectly and pocketing cash from the register.
Duane E. Wynn, 49, of Portage Road was charged with petit larceny on Monday.
The supervisor said that over the course of three nights, she saw Wynn ring up items incorrectly and take the difference in price; not ring things up at all the items sold and keep the cash; and physically take the money rather than putting it in the safe. She said the total loss was estimated at $135.
