LOCKPORT – Supervisor Marc R. Smith said Thursday that 30 people attended Wednesday’s night’s initial public forum on the draft of the town’s new comprehensive plan.
The plan, drafted by Town Planner Andrew C. Reilly of the Wendel engineering firm, is meant to provide a framework for future development in the town and a guide to potential future zoning changes. The text so far is available on the town’s website.
Smith said, “Absolutely, there will be changes to the program before the next meeting.” That’s set for 6 to 8 p.m. June 19 in Town Hall.
“We’ll probably take comments until September,” Smith said.
