LOCKPORT – A Wheatfield man, who was sent to state prison earlier this year for a felony driving while intoxicated incident in the City of Tonawanda, received an identical sentence of one to three years Friday from Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas.
Raymond J. Herstek, 36, was sentenced by Farkas for violating probation on a 2009 felony DWI conviction. The violations were two other alcohol-related arrests: April 8, 2013, in the City of Tonawanda and Nov. 27 in Lewiston,
In March, Herstek was sentenced to one to three years for the Tonawanda case, and Farkas said the sentence she imposed will be served simultaneously.
The original Niagara County arrest came April 16, 2008, in Wheatfield, when Herstek reportedly downed 17 beers and three shots in seven hours.
