LOCKPORT – A Buffalo man admitted Wednesday in State Supreme Court that he possessed cocaine with the intention of selling it to a police informant June 10 in North Tonawanda.

David A. Lee, 23, of Langfield Drive, pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and was admitted to the judicial diversion program of court-supervised drug treatment by Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr.

Lee faces up to nine years behind bars if he washes out of the treatment program, but if he succeeds, his charge will be reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor with a promise of no jail time. The program normally lasts about two years.
