BARKER -- A Polaris all-terrain vehicle was among the items stolen from a Lake Road barn overnight Saturday, sheriff’s deputies said.
A thief removed a lock from the barn door sometime between 10:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:13 a.m. Sunday, deputies said, and removed the four-by-four ATV, a generator, a chain saw and an air gun, deputies said. Drag marks from the heavier items extended westbound toward Lake Road.
Deputies said that an unlocked vehicle on the scene was also entered, and about $4 in loose change was stolen. In all, loss was estimated at $8,108.
