WHEATFIELD – The Niagara Military Affairs Council, the citizen group that leads efforts to promote new missions and oppose closure threats at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, showed off a new logo, eight-page color brochure and website design Friday.

John Cooper, chairman of the council, said the materials were designed by Allieway Marketing Services of Buffalo, hired with part of a $125,000 state grant.

He said that grant also paid for the hiring of Beardsley Design Associates of Auburn to work on plans for a possible new facility at the base, a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility. Cooper said it’s a secure room that federal law enforcement or military officials could use to discuss secret information without fear of being spied on.

The grant also paid for the hiring of a part-time clerical worker for the council, Cooper said.
